In this study we are asking why sometimes lyrical or mystic texts with romantic symbolism use themes disregarding religious respect. What is the origin of these themes? Is it possible to explain how these themes are formed in the artist's mind? In some lyrical poetry with mystical interpretation, one is sometimes faced with a portrait of the beloved which is almost divine and on the surface can be considered as being religiously inappropriate. In this paper, first the concept of "religious literature disrespect" is explained followed by examples from early texts of classical poetry to the present time and classified in ten different types. Panegyrist themes of Khorasani and Iraqi styles present a widespread use of this trend. The poems of Sa'di, as well as verses attributed to Qays Ibn al-Mulawwah (Majnun Ameri) are analyzed. Saadi, is believed to be influenced by Majun's themes. It is argued that such themes are linked with imagination explained by Ibn Arabi's description of imagination and mystical love.
