Bijan in Iranian epic narrations and some points about Bijanname AbstractBijan, Giw's son Rostsm'grandson is one of the famous champions of Iran. In addition to Shahname (written by Ferdowsi), In many different epic poems it's talked about Bijan and his performance That we can say he is the fearless and bold character of Iranian epic narratives. In Iranian epic poems, Bijan is so important that he's entitled " dragon killer" . And his braveness and audacity cause he's considered as an Azhdarkosh(torpedo killer) champion. However, there's no any separate and independent epics about Bijan's championship.We just have "Bijan nameh" epic which is also analyzed from the Bijan and Manijeh" story. "Bijan and Manijeh" story is written by Ferdowsi. So this epic(Bijan name) doesn't have creativity. This article has two parts. First part is about the main championship of Bijan in epic narratives and analysis of his personality and characteristic.
