Each narrative poem is explicated in terms of Greimas' narrative axes. Then, the helper-actants are identified and characterized when they emerge in the stories. In the next stage, helpers are compared according to the frequency of their appearance along narrative axes, and consequently, Greimas' semiotic square is drawn for each story in order to reveal the extent to which each helper changes the course of the story. The comparison of four semiotic squares indicates virtual love in Vis and Rāmin and Khusraw and Shīrīn where helper-actants manage to make union possible along the communication axis. The semiotic square indicates spiritual love in Yūsif and Zuleykhā and ethereal love in Laylā and Majnūn. Helper-actants in these narratives do not play an essential role in the course of the story because the hero's character development is contingent upon internal processes that must be carried out at his/her own hand. Keywords: Actant, Helper, Subject, Propp, Greimas, Character Analysis در تحقیق حاضر به بررسی و مقایسۀ نقش کنشگر یاور در چهار داستان غنایی «ویس ورامین» فخر الدّین اسعد گرگانی، «لیلی و مجنون» و «خسرو و شیرین» نظامی و «یوسف و زلیخا»ی جامی پرداخته شده است. ابتدا هر داستان با استفاده از زنجیره‌های روایی گریماس توصیف شده ‌سپس شخصیّت یاور در تمام موقعیّت‌های حضور خود در هر داستان ‌مورد تحلیل قرار گرفته است. آنگاه کنشگران یاور بر اساس میزان حضور خود در زنجیره‌های روایی با یکدیگر مقایسه شده‌اند و برای رسیدن به نتیجۀ نهایی مربّع معنایی گریماس برای هر داستان رسم شده تا مشخّص شود که هر کنشگر یاور تا چه حد در تحوّل اساسی داستان نقش داشته است. مقایسۀ چهار مربّع معنایی، وجود عشق مجازی را در دو روایت «ویس و رامین» و «خسرو وشیرین» نشان می‌دهد و کنشگران یاور این منظومه‌ها نیز در زنجیرۀ پیمانی توانسته‌اند امکان وصال را فراهم کنند، امّا ترسیم مربّع معنایی در روایت «لیلی ومجنون»، عشق عذری و در «یوسف و زلیخا»، عشق روحانی را نشان می‌دهد. کنشگران یاور این روایات در تحوّل اصلی داستان نقش نداشته و در زنجیرۀ پیمانی موفّق نیستند، به این دلیل که تحوّل قهرمان (فاعل) امری شخصی و درونی است که به دست خود او انجام می‌گیرد.
