Literature mirrors the society as it reflects the feelings, sentiments, and ideas of a nation. Use of science and scientific data in classical Persian poetry was merely for the sake of language games. In modern times science is progressing very fast affecting every member of the society so poets also use it in their poetry.  The use of scientific expressions, whether a word or a theme in poetry, is reflective of science in literature.  The present study aims at exploring some of these scientific data in the modern Persian poetry. Content analysis has been used focusing on poets who are more spiritual in their approach.
