Yet, one cannot ignore such attributions all together as there are sometimes instances where one can  recognize the true writer of a piece of poetry. In this paper, with the help of two collections, one recent and one old, as well as the collected poems of Kamālodin Ismāil  it is argued that a piece of his poetry has been of wrongly attributed to Farkhāri in Dowlatshāh Samarghandi’s Poets’ Biography. <br />  <br />    <br />  <br />One area of research in classical Persian literature is the attribution of poems to different poets making researchers cautious in dealing with such biographies and collections.
