the strangulation and despotism that was in shamlu's contemporary community ( 1304 - 1379 solar hijri ) has caused a widespread symbol accession in his poem in two side of dark and light which shows the poet's mithgrapher mind and his attention to twofold contrast in creation system . Actually , shamlu , purposefully uses creation twofold contrast in : prison / freedom , aversion / love , solitude / population , sadness / happiness , the earth /sky , human / God and ... superstructure that sometimes are shown in a paradisical shape to transfer the ideologic layer ( pragmatically ) in the mithical and symbolic texture that it has ; inasmuch as based on this contrast we can explain many of his poem narrative textures . Symbolic expression is one of the stylistic features of contemporary poetry making ambiguity and artistic literary texture thus getting the reader involved in the text. Shamlu's society was stifled by the dictatorship (1304-1379 S.H.) that led him to use extensively dark and light symbolism in his poetry creating myths which show he was interested in binary oppositions. It is argued that Shamlu uses binaries such as imprisonment-freedom, love-hate, solitude-crowds, sadness-happiness, earth-sky, and human-God which are sometimes manipulated paradoxically. Thus the narrative structure of most of his poems can be explained through such binaries.
