The application of public literature elements in Ahmad Shamloo’s poetry
Abstract
In this article, the public literary elements with higher frequencies in Ahmad Shamloo’s poems are investigated. These elements are colloquial language, public terms ad vocabularies, Onomatopoeic Words, beliefs and legends, idioms, lyrics and even the famous characters in public literature and their application delicacy which are investigated in term of their application and at the end of each section, the reasons why these elements were used by poet would be explained. In addition to introduction and review of background, the Shamloo’s role and relationship with public literature would be reflected as the starting point of the investigating the main goals. This paper proved that Shamloo’s approach to public literary elements and their application in his poems is the result of a mentality evolution and linguistics which is a highlighted feature of Shamloo’s poetry led to the fact that he used more public literary terms more than the spiritual elements. In addition, it would be explained that Shamloo’s approach to public literature, however, is based on the society’s needs and conditions, have never been reducing the quality of his poetry to a low quality or general work.
