چکیده
رئالیسم جادویی و داستان موقعیت، دو شیوه یا جریان نوین در داستان­نویسی معاصرند که علاوه بر ویژگی­های مستقل، به دلیل چند مؤلفه بنیادی و زیرساخت مشترک، قابلیت و امکان هم­بستری در یک داستان را دارند. داستان موقعیت به نسبت رئالیسم جادویی، در ایران جریانی نوپا و ناشناخته است که کم‌تر به آن پرداخته شده است. داستان کوتاه گیاهی در قرنطینه اثر بیژن نجدی، محملی برای تلفیق این دو رویکرد داستان­نویسی است.  مقاله‌ی حاضر، مولفه­های منفرد رئالیسم‌ جادویی و داستان موقعیت مانند شخصیت‌پردازی، رازگونگی و عینییت پدیده، ساختار و جنس موقعیت و همچنین ویژگی­ها و زیرساخت مشترک هر دو شیوه، مانند چاره­ناپذیری، فقدان روابط علّی و واکنش اعتراضی به صورت‌بندی­های مدرنیته استخراج و طبقه­بندی می­کند و در هر مؤلفه برای آشنایی بیشتر خواننده، نمونه­هایی داستانی را از چهره‌های شاخص این دو جریان، یعنی مارکز و بورخس در رئالیسم جادویی و کافکا در داستان موقعیت، ارائه می­نماید؛ سپس داستان مذکور را از زاویه‌ی موردنظر، تحلیل و بررسی می­کند. با تحلیل هم­زمان داستان، از منظر دو شیوه مذکور، امکان­ واکاوی داستان گسترش می­یابد و ابعاد جدیدی پیش چشم خواننده گشوده می­شود. این مقاله با تکیه بر پیامدهای مدرنیته، همچون حاکمیت عقل، تکنولوژی تحمیلی، نظارت و دخالت سازمان­ها بر افراد، الگوی یکسان­سازی و... انسانی را نشان می­دهد­ که او را از تخیل، باورهای متافیزیکی، فرهنگ بومی، هویت فردی و...  تهی کرده­اند. انسان عاجز و ناتوانی که توان و امکان تغییر شرایط پیرامونش را ندارد.

Interweaving of Magic Realism and Story of Circumstance: A Case Study of “A Plant in Quarantine”

 Magic realism and Story of circumstance are two manners or streams in contemporary story writing. In comparison with Magic realism, Story of circumstance is a new and unknown stream in Iran. Because of common characters and infrastructures, these two streams can be investigated and analyzed in a single story. A plant in quarantine by Bizhan Najdi is a short story that lends itself well to analysis through Magic realism and Story of circumstance approaches both at the same time. The present study first introduces the main principles of these two streams, i.e. characterization, mysticism, objectivity of phenomenon, structure and material of circumstance, through presenting parts of the famous works of prominent figures of these two literary streams, Marques and Borges in Magic realism and Kafka in story of circumstance; the article, then, analyzes Najdi’s story, A Plant in Quarantine, based on these principles. The article, in addition, drawing upon the outcomes of modernity, i.e., ruling of reason, imposed technology, etc. shows a human being devoid of creativity metaphysics beliefs, native customs, personal identity, etc; a desperate human unable to change his environment.
