چکیده

شاهنامه اثری است حماسی، متشکّل از عناصر اسطوره‌ای و تاریخی که در قالب روایت داستانی بیان شده است. آمیختگیِ اسطوره و تاریخ در شاهنامه، و تحوّل و دگرگونیِ داستان‌های آن تا زمان منظوم شدن به‌دست فردوسی، پیچیدگیِ خاصّی به ساختار داستان‌های آن، داده است، چنان‌که ما احساس می‌کنیم با مجموعه‌ای از داستان‌هایی متعدّد و متنوّع روبرو هستیم. امّا در پسِ این تکثّرها و تنوّع‌های روساختی، ژرف‌ساخت‌های مشترکی را می‌توان استخراج کرد. اسطوره‌ی اژدهاکشی با گستره‌ی جهانی‌اش، یکی از معدود ژرف‌ساخت‌های موجود در ساختار داستان‌های شاهنامه است. در این مقاله، با بررسی شاهنامه‌ی فردوسی، هفده داستان با ژرف‌ساخت اژدهاکشی استخراج شده است. پس از بررسی ساختار رواییِ داستان‌ها، با استفاده از ساختارگرایی استروس، اسطوره- واج‌های تشکیل‌دهنده‌ی ساختار داستان‌ها را استخراج کرده‌ایم. یافته‌های این پژوهش نشان می‌دهد اسطوره‌ی اژدهاکشی در ژرف‌ساخت برخی داستان‌های به‌ظاهر بی‌ارتباط با این اسطوره نیز وجود دارد؛ چون ژرف‌ساخت همه‌ی داستان‌ها مبتنی بر تقابل باروری طبیعت با سترونی است.

چکیده [English]

Shahnameh is an epic combined of historical and mythological elements forming the narrative. The mixture of history and myth in Shahnameh, and the transformation of its source stories during the course of time before Ferdowsi's attempt at versifying them have made the structure of the stories complicating; therefore, the reader feels that he is reading a bunch of dissimilar and distinct stories. However, the deep structure underlying all these varieties is the same. The universal myth of ‘killing of the dragons’ is one of the few deep structures of Shahnameh. In this study, seventeen stories in which killing of the dragon serves as the deep structure have been investigated. This study shows that "the myth of killing of the dragon" underlies other stories as well—the stories which are apparently irrelevant to this myth—since the fundamental structure of all stories lies in the binary opposition of fertility and sterility of nature.
