چکیده

رفاه و تأمین اجتماعی، یکی از شاخص‌های پیشرفت در جوامع مترقّی است. بررسی اسناد تاریخی و مشاهدات اجتماعی مورّخان از ایران دوره‌ی ساسانی، بیانگر آن است که پادشاهان ساسانی در دوران فرمانروایی خود، کم‌وبیش برای بهبود زندگی مردم کوشیده‌اند. شاهنامه‌ی فردوسی یکی از آثارگران‌سنگی است که به روایت رخدادهای آن دوران پرداخته است. پرسش اصلی این نوشته این‌ است که آیا در این اثر، برای رفاه و تأمین اجتماعی مصادیقی می‌توان یافت؟ یافته‌های این پژوهش که به شیوه‌ی اسنادی‌تحلیلی به ‌انجام رسیده است، نشان می‌دهد که برای هر چهار مؤلّفه‌ی رفاه و تأمین اجتماعی، یعنی «بیمه‌های اجتماعی»، «خدمات اجتماعی»، «رفاه اجتماعی» و «مساعدت‌های اجتماعی»، مصادیق کاربردی و نمونه‌های بارز و روشنگری در شاهنامه‌ی فردوسی وجود دارد. این نمونه‌ها نشان‌دهنده‌ی اهتمام فرمانروایان برای ارتقا موضوع رفاه و تأمین اجتماعی در میان مردم در آن دوران است.

Abstract
Welfare and social security are assigned as  indicators of progress in developed societies. A review of historical documents and the social observations, carried out by the historians of the Sassanid period, of Iran indicates that, during their reign, Sassanid kings have more or less tried to improve people's life standard. Ferdowsi's Shahnameh is one of the valuable works which narrates the events of that era. The main question of this article is whether there is some evidence on this very important issue of welfare and social security in Ferdowsi's Shahnameh? The findings of this analytical-documentary study indicate that for all four components of welfare and social security, namely social insurance, social services, social welfare and social assistance, there lies certain practical and obvious evidence in Shahnameh. This manifests the attempts made by the government to provide the high level of welfare and social security for the people of that era.
